The new range of Just Rite cling stamps with coordinating Spellbinders dies have arrived at Crimson Cloud - and we have been having some fun with them!!
Hi -
Hope you are all ready and raring to go for Christmas :-)
This is my final Christmas card for 2011.
I actually made it for the CRAFT Challenge blog - the theme was Christmas Presents.
I used the Here Comes Christmas cling stamp by Penny Black
and coloured it in using Copics.
To mat and layer the card, I used various Spellbinders dies: Wonky Rectangles
I cut the Glass out of the cricut alphabet collection preloaded on my
Cricut Expression 2.
Using the negative, upside down I drew the perfect second half of the rim
of the glass with my quickie glue pen. I then embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Embossing Powder “Ruby Lapis” embossing powder
- a pretty good match for the colour card I had chosen.
I made this card for my brother-in-law who has just moved to France:
I had great fun playing with the Spellbinders dies on this one - moving them around and layering them up until I was happy with the layout - using Labels Twenty :
The scene was very quick and easy to do - I used a small circle to mask a "sun" and a tiny bit of Black Soot Distress Ink to ground the Tower and the Victorian Gentleman.
The sentiment is one of my favourite Penny Black stamps - it is so versatile!
We have been lucky enough to be included in the latest edition of Creative Cardmaking which is on sale now. We took part in a project on making felt embellishments for cards.
Here are the cards we submitted:
Many of the products used in these projects are available at Crimsoncloud.co.uk.
If you pick up the magazine, you will find detailed instructions on how to make these cards.

We have just launched a new range of die cut embellishments at Crimson Cloud and I couldn't wait to start playing with them.
The die cuts are so detailed that you don't really need to do much more on the card. I embossed the backing card with the new Walrus and Carpenter embossing folder from Creative Expressions
I hope you like these new embellishments - click here to see the full range.
